Blind Boondocks Ace

Mark and I hit Boondocks today. Sunny, cool, breezy--a great overall day for disc. Hole 11 is a 280 foot narrow shaft of a hole. The shaft is maybe 200 feet, then a dramatic drop off for the final 80 feet. It is a blind hole.
The red star is where you want to throw this shot, then let it bleed down right (I mean left!!), feeding to the hidden, downhill basket. So I grabbed my trusty Jack-o-lantern Roc, drove it tight down the tunnel, it fell for a while--I think I said, "That should be parked"--and Mark and I heard CHING! Really, loud, solid chains. I said, "That sounded like a lot of chain!"

Mark and I walked down the fairway and peered over the ledge...Blind ace!! A great way to start the disc season.
